Running Away

Aiden looks around to make sure no one is watching, then gets on his jet black horse, and starts riding away from camp. Suddenly, his horse stops, its legs caught in vines... Aiden detected a faint odor of... grapes. "d*** I knew this would happen!" Out of the forest stepped dionyses... Mr. D, "Well well well... what do we have here... a runner? off to join kronos no doubt... Well, We'll have to fix that wont we?". Aiden panics as vines wrap around his throat... he cant breathe...his vision dims, but he feels a surge of power go out of him... suddenly the vines grip slackens, and they fall off of him. When he opens his eyes, he sees a giant skeletal hand holding the unconsious Mr. D... A note is carved into the hand of the skeleton. "Your Welcome" and the crest of Hades...

Aiden smiles, he has been forgiven. He looks over at his horse, it is dead... He glances away, thinking if he should risk going back to the stables. But when he looks back, he sees the skeleton of a griffin, waiting, and looking at him, with cold hollow eye sockets. Again, the crest of hades is carved into the upper skull. Aiden gets on the undead griffin and rides into the sky. As he is riding off, Other campers notice. He can hear their screams, but only barely.

OOC: I'm not yelling at you, but try not to control any gods besides your own, that being Hades. Since your is Hades, I am only posting this because of the Mr. D thing. However, since we have few Admins.....I will let it slide.

... do we have a Mr. D? and besides it wasnt really a RP, its just a scene, and I had to find somebody to do it...

IC:Emily, who had been taking her daily Pegasus lessons, heard the cries and reigned in her steed. She followed behind Aiden, and attempted to converse with him. "Where the Hades are you going?" She called after him, her hair billowing behind her, and her white dress pulling tight against her small figure, being pushed against her due to wind resistance.

* The ground rumbled at the name*

"Well, if you must know, To mount talampis. These fools are doing nothing to stop tthe titans, so I guess its up to me..."

Aidens mount plummeted like a stone, and caught itself just before hitting, it then puffed into dust and aiden calmly waited

OOC:Yep^.^ Just wait for this plot twist.

IC:Emily's mount flew down a little more gracefully. Once it had landed, and Emily had removed herself from it's back, it flew into the forest and went looking for food. Emily walked slowly toward Aiden and said, in almost a whisper,"Look, I can't let you go fighting the Titans. You go back to camp and help them prepare, or I will cut you down to size." With that, she took a step back and tapped two fingers to the charm upon her silver chain. The spear burst into life, landing in the palm of her right hand.

"I think you will find me... a very adequate opponent" Said aiden as he took out his sword. "Do not try to stop me, I have the backing of hades... I... have had dreams"

At the top of the slope, Sapphire stands looking down at the scene unfolding beneath her. As she observes, the girl named Emily pulls out her weapon. 'The only reason that she'd pull a weapon on a fellow camper would be if they were a threat. Aiden can't possibly be a threat. But he looked like he was ... running. Why would he run? ' she thinks, starting to panic. 'Aiden can't run. He's the only one that has even approached me at all. Just because I was chased by Kronos's army, and almost let them in. And since Diodotus ( Name of my satyr guide. Means gift of Zeus. Thought it was appropriate) ... passed, most of the satyrs are awkward around me too.' She stands rigid as she watches in paralyzing horror as the two half- bloods fight.

As Aiden stabs at emily, he pricks a small scratch on her arm. He observes a wisp of soul fly out and into the air, the area immediatly becomes gray and crumpled (not really any damage, Just a little thing.. kinda)

Aiden clenches his fist and plummets it into the ground, it emerges holding the skull of a skeleton, the skeleton is wearing tattered greek armour and a blue cape.

Aiden gives the undead being the order to attack, then seems almost to dissolve into the ground, A faint ripple is seen as he speeds away underground

As she watches, Aiden lunges at Emily, then pulls some trick and disappears. As comprehension dawns on Sapphire, she starts running down the hill at top speed.

OOC: Still haven't gotten over that auto-hitting problem of yours?

IC: Emily, who had not been hit by Aiden's blade, finished her spin with a roll, jumping back onto her feet. She pushed the skeleton back with her spear, humming a quick lullaby that caused a Venus flytrap to pop up from the ground and devour the skeleton, clamping down on it's pelvis and crushing the bone. Smirking, she took the spear and stabbed it directly into the ground, splitting the soft soil slightly. Where she split the ground, a root of the flytrap began tunneling after Aiden. She was humming the whole time this occurred.

OOC: dangit... shouldnt have gone underground... and, no... its a bit of a habit

IC: Aiden smirks at the little plant following him, and he wills the earth around him, suddenly all of the metal in the earth with in 20 yards comes together and crushed the little weed

Reaching the base of the hill, Sapphire yells to Emily " What the in the name of Hades is going on?"

The spear wounds aiden on the shoulder, but he goes deeper and deeper until he is more than 10 meters underground, he continues until he reaches a lake. At that point he explodes out of the ground and re-creates his flying steed. He quickly hops on and sets off into the sky. As he is flying, smirking back at the two ant-sized figures on the ground, a lightning bolt hits his mount, as the beast crumples to dust, it manages to go lower until it is only about 4 stories above the ground, then it dissenegrates. Aiden falls the distance and onto the ground, creating a large crater and knocking aiden out. Several bones are broken in the proccess. His last thought is... "Damn Zeus"

OOC: Again, controlling Zeus.

IC:Emily sighed, walking the short distance it took her to reach Aiden. She stood over his knocked out body, and glared at him. Then, suddenly, her gaze softened. She let loose a tear, and said, "Rest well, old friend. I am sorry for this." With that, she hummed a sad tune, suddenly begining to sing the words. It spoke of lost friends, war, and betrayal. The song seemed to tell the ground to spring to life. It regained it's quality, growing grass and flowers. However, in the crater, nothing grew. Then, on the last note, vines shot from the ground and began wrapping around the broken body, restraining him there. Emily turned quickly, and began walking in the same direction Aiden had been headed. She whistled and a beautiful, brown steed came galloping through the forest. It had no wings, but she mounted it and prepared to ride.

OOC: so... what, your going to fight them on your own?

OOC: Haha. Nope. Demeter is turning over to the Titans, and I am going with her.

OOC: dammit emily

IC: Aiden jumps up, and with perfect timing jumps at Emily and holds his sword to her throat.

OOC: Dangit Aiden! When you lost, I had this whole long sweet thing written out, and the you posted! Grrrr! >.<
